1A:1B Platinum Cure system is the ultimate choice for crafters who demand perfection. Whether you’re duplicating a delicate piece of jewelry or creating custom DIY molds, our low-viscosity liquid silicone captures every tiny detail. Non-toxic, odorless, and beginner-friendly—turning your ideas into reality has never been this easy.
Using our RTV-2 Platinum Cured 1A:1B Liquid Silicone Rubber is simple and rewarding. Follow these professional steps to ensure high-detail, bubble-free molds every time.
Step 1: Prepare Your Master & Container
Clean your master object (the item you want to copy) thoroughly. Secure it to the bottom of a container (mold box) using a tiny bit of glue or double-sided tape.
Pro Tip: Ensure your master is free of sulfur, tin, or latex, as these materials can inhibit the curing of platinum silicone.
Step 2: Measure with the 1A:1B Ratio
Our system is designed for simplicity. You can measure Part A and Part B in equal amounts by Volume (using measuring cups) or by Weight (using a scale).
Ratio: 1:1 (Equal parts A and B).
Step 3: Mix Thoroughly
Combine Part A and Part B in a clean mixing container. Stir slowly and steadily for 3–5 minutes. Be sure to scrape the sides and the bottom of the bucket multiple times to ensure no unmixed material remains.
Slow stirring prevents excess air bubbles from being trapped.
Step 4: The “High Pour” Technique
Pour the mixed silicone into the corner of your mold box, letting the liquid flow naturally around the master object.
The Secret: Pour in a long, thin stream from a height of about 12 inches (30cm). This “high pour” helps pop any remaining air bubbles before they reach your master.
Step 5: Cure and Demold
Let the mold sit undisturbed at room temperature (around 25°C/77°F). Our platinum silicone typically cures in 4–6 hours (depending on the specific grade). Once it’s no longer tacky and feels firm, gently peel back the silicone to reveal your perfect, high-precision mold!

Storage Product should be stored at or below 45°C in original, unopened containers. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable, usually the viscosity will increase, it can be used normally after stirring evenly
